About Jan Splinter
Welcome! My name is Jan Splinter, I am 59 years old, divorced, and the proud father of two wonderful daughters. In addition to my passion for goalkeeping, I am also an avid golfer.
My career as a professional goalkeeper coach began over 20 years ago at amateur clubs, eventually leading me to professional football with clubs such as Ajax and Almere City.
I have also gained international experience in countries such as Italy, Greece, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Currently, I am working as the Head of the Goalkeeper Department at Mahd Academy in Saudi Arabia.
My love for goalkeeping started early.
During my own football career, I realized that my talent wasn’t on the field, but in goal. That’s where I immediately felt at home.
Soon after, I was also drawn to coaching, and since then, I have built an impressive resume in the world of football.

Through my extensive experience in top-level football, I have gained a solid understanding of what does and does not work. Everyone has an opinion, and that's fine, but what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. It's important to discover what works best for you. I can help you build a framework and provide advice, but ultimately, you need to develop your own vision.

Training sessions are intensive and focused on realistic game situations, ensuring that goalkeepers are always well-prepared when they step onto the field.
